Description du cours
Blockchain Battle est une initiation au fonctionnement de la blockchain et des cryptomonnaies articulée autour d’un jeu vidéo.
Ce cours permettra de toucher du doigt le monde abstrait de la blockchain pour appréhender les concepts comme: le consensus, la fonction de hachage, les signatures numériques, le minage, et bien d’autres concepts clefs.
Pour cela, vous serez accompagnés par des vidéos entre chaque niveau tout le long du cours. Ces dernières vont permettre d’approfondir les sujets expérimentés durant votre expérience de jeu. Les quizs permettent de valider votre progression, et les exercices font travailler les notions essentielles.
Objectifs pédagogiques du cours
- Découvrir les rouages de la technologie blockchain et du bitcoin
- Explorer les principes de cryptographies qui régissent la blockchain
- Initier à des sujets comme les codes militaires, le protocole HTTPS, la cybersécurité, les systèmes décentralisés et bien d’autres choses liées à la blockchain.

Course description
Blockchain Battle is a deep dive into the fascinating world of blockchain and cryptocurrency, built around a video game.
This course will help you discover how blockchain works under the hood, through interactive and clear explanations of otherwise abstract concepts such as consensus, hash functions, digital signatures, and mining.
In between playing levels of the game, videos will accompany you throughout the class, giving deeper explanations of important and complementary concepts. Quizzes will allow you to validate your progress, and exercises will have you develop your understanding of the material.
The class concludes with a research project in which you gather information about current developments in blockchain and share your findings with your peers.
